Visual artist and writer Alexandre Singh is living in Rotterdam in residence for a year until the completion of The Humans. A production in progress: an ongoing installation, multiple encounters or “Causeries”, rehearsals and a play. On a daily basis, he posts on a dedicated tumblr page, visual material and other sources that serve as an inspiration in the development of his project.

LA VILLA HERMOSA — LE SECOND CYCLE

La pratique de la villa hermosa se définit au fil des travaux, des rencontres et du temps. Les recherches de Pierre-Philippe Duchâtelet et Lionel Maes sont rassemblées en cycles de travail associés à des périodes différentes dans l’évolution du studio graphique bruxellois. Chaque cycle est associé à 2 couleurs ; une de début et une de fin qui déterminent la communication du studio durant cette période. Les premiers projets du SECOND CYCLE sont présentés sur le nouveau site Internet depuis le 20 décembre. Un poster disponible sur demande recueille une sélection de travaux de la première année. Enfin, un blog, plateforme d’échange complète ce travail de documentation.
