The selection of works for the exhibition Captured while Vanishing looks back to the beginning of video art in the Folkwang Collection. The Bump it! is a procedure developed and applied recurrently in a series of artworks by Bertrand Planes. An object or a group of objects is uniformly painted white, and a video-projection then re-colors, re-textures the surfaces.
