Essi Kausalainen explores the human body/being in relation to the space that surrounds it. She’s interested in the physical experience of being (body as a space, body as an action, body as an identity). Extension is a Performance Art plattform in Berlin presenting international emerging artists. It offers space, infrastructure and time for invited artists to develop new works, discuss their positions with the audience and research new methodologies in the documentation of performances.

Galerie Adler is putting on its first show of works by the Berlin-based artist Anouk Kruithof (*1981, Dordrecht, Netherlands). The exhibition BECOMING BLUE consists of an installation out of approximately 4000 books, a looped video and 24 photographs: 21 portraits and 3 stillifes.

Comme il est d’usage dans le travail de Pascal Broccolichi, STAACK est un projet qui polarise le rapport entre les lois complexes de l’acoustique et leurs principes de mise en jeu dans l’espace d’exposition. Ses œuvres prennent ainsi en compte à la fois l’architecture et ses phénomènes topographiques, mais aussi les flux de vibrations qui composent la résonance d’un lieu pour les retranscrire et rendre ainsi audible ce que l’on ne fait habituellement que ressentir.

A new Beat Streuli solo show has opened at Murray Guy, New York NY. The exhibition includes photographs and video shot through the urban spaces of New York City, pairing works from two moments of economic turmoil, 1991 and 2009. Beat Streuli photographs in urban spaces using a telephoto lens that captures people, automobiles, buildings, and the urban fabric with astonishing intimacy. Beat Streuli was born in 1957 in Switzerland and lives and works in Brussels.
