Après une première à la galerie Esther Woerdehoff, la carte blanche PHPA 2012 de Magnum Photos (Bruce Gilden, Paolo Pellegrin, Christopher Anderson, Moises Saman et Steve McCurry) s’expose à la Belle Juliette avec Charlotte Tanguy, lauréate du prix Photo d’Hôtel, Photo d’Auteur. Pour rappel, le projet PHPA s’articule autour d’un concept simple : une photographie unique accompagnée d’un texte inspiré d’une nuit passée dans l’un des 5 hôtels labelisés HPRG. DISCOTHEQUISME — house club design — est une émanation de l’esthétique des clubs et des festivals belges. Avec cette nouvelle exposition, Thibaut Blondiau et Jérôme André recyclent les codes du clubbing. Ils les caricature, les détournent, mais en font toujours l’apologie: mobilier, photographies et vidéos objectivent la fête. Organisée dans le cadre de Design September, cette expo-événement proposera des œuvres inédites et constituera un lieu unique de rencontres et d’échanges sur la mécanique environnementale de la fête.

Celebrating the return of the Stedelijk Museum as the focal point of Amsterdam’s contemporary art scene, « Beyond Imagination », the first temporary exhibition at the new Stedelijk, is a tribute to the art that is made in Amsterdam and the Netherlands.
