Claire Decet développe, parallèlement à son projet de résidence à Berlin, une série de dessins au crayon de couleur qui prend la forme d’un cabinet de curiosité; bestiaire imaginaire, créatures hybrides à la fois animales, végétales, minérales ou issues d’objets qui mettent l’accent sur nombres de dérives expérimentales.

The Nederlands Fotomuseum has started the new exhibition series Quickscan NL about the most recent developments in the photography in The Netherlands. Cette exposition est le reflet d’une amitié profonde entre deux artistes, Bill Viola et Thierry Kuntzel (décédé en 2007) qui ont en partage des façons proches d’occuper le temps et l’espace.
L’exposition conçue par Raymond Bellour et Bill Viola tresse un jeu savant de confrontation entre des installations et des bandes vidéo des deux artistes.

In 2008, Julien Renault presented a collection of hand-blown glass lamps, made by studio Matteo Gonet (CH), representing the stem of a tree. His ECAL diploma project Hand forged aluminium serie won the first price at the D3 competition (IMM Cologne), organized by the German Design Council. On the designer’s website, you can view very graphic works in progress photographed by himself. Julien Renault lives in Brussels and works for the Sylvain Willenz Design Studio.
