Première exposition d’un cycle organisé par JAP et Bruxelles Congrès: PHASE III est un projet interdisciplinaire et collectif ; son matériau premier est la ville, son temps, ses espaces – les flux qui l’animent. S.O.S est avant tout une réflexion sur le phénomène de surinformation que nous subissons au quotidien. Sébastien Rien croisent les champs du graphisme, de la musique, de l’édition, des arts plastiques et numériques.

POMPIDOU CENTER OPENING – METZ

The Centre Pompidou-Metz opens its doors for five full days. The 12,000 m2 cultural complex includes 6,000 m2 of exhibition space all contained under the roof.
ARCHITECTUREShigeru Ban, Jean de Gastines and Philip Gumuchdjian won the international competition in 2003. GRAPHIC DESIGN: Logo and visual guideline by Donuts, the collective studio of graphic designers based in Brussels who created the identity of the last Biennale de Lyon.

Brussels-based performance artist Jean Baptiste Biche will enact his newest study, MVTΛTIONS, a 40-minute one man show of experimental dance and theatre in Antwerp this week. You can watch the performance trailer on Vimeo. The catalogue Plans d’évasion of Michel François designed by Roger Willems is available.
Roger Willems lives and works as self-employed designer in Amsterdam, mainly working in the field of book design for publishing houses and cultural institutions. He started his own publishing and editorial project in 1998: Roma Publications. Since then, Roma Publications has been expanding in an informal and dynamic way as a platform for production and distribution of publications, made in close collaboration with a growing number of artists, designers, curators, writers and poets.

Les Hôtels Paris Rive Gauche viennent de confier leur carte blanche Photo d’Hôtel, Photo d’Auteur 2010 à Patrick Tourneboeuf (diaporamas: Tendance Floue), connu pour sa série «Monumental». L’opportunité pour l’artiste de photographier l’ensemble des hôtels et le Théâtre de l’Odéon.
Ses premières prises de vue permettent de découvrir le chantier de l’ex-hôtel Ferrandi, bientôt rebaptisé en établissement 4 étoiles. Après Combes et Renaud, Fred Lebain et Tatiana Margaux Bonhomme, Patrick Tourneboeuf est le quatrième photographe à donner sa vision inédite de lieux chargés d’histoires…

HANGING OUT . IN TIME . AND SPACE

With their work The Authentic Boys connect film, photography and video art with physical acts and performance. The international collective consists of: Johannes Dullin (D), Boris van Hoof (NL), Gregory Stauffer (CH – Le Cabinet de Curiosités) and Aaike Stuart (NL). After Berlin and Oslo, the boys install a composition of five video works in Het Wilde Weten (Rotterdam) during the International Film Festival.
